The years turns not in a circle but in a spiral. Each returning season is different. Changes may be small, shifting backwards and forwards or edging slowly towards a new condition. Changes may be sudden, as when there is a major flood.
The drawings and prints in this exhibition spring from observations of such changes in Crathes made over a number of years.
Nicola graduated from Grays School of Art in Aberdeen in June 2008, specialising in printmaking.
