Anke Addy: The Living Cairngorms

Opening event: Saturday 29 September @ 2pm - 4pm

Exhibition open*: Saturday 29 September - Saturday 10 November @ 12pm - 4pm

Anke Addy's stunning new photographic exhibition 'The Living Cairngorms' is inspired by Nan Shepherd's well known book 'The Living Mountain' and is set in what is now widely known as The Cairngorms National Park.

The images included are of the landscape, the native plants, the birds and mammals, all of which are important aspects of this internationally renowned mountain range. To complete the picture, rivers, lochs, snow, ice, weather, and man are also part of this wide-ranging show.

Originally from the lowlands of Holland, Anke Addy has lived in the Scottish Highlands for over 25 years. Her work has been published in magazines and exhibited in galleries in Scotland and abroad.
