The Barn is successful in receiving Regular Funding from Creative Scotland

25th Jan ·

The Barn is delighted to have been awarded £400,000 Regular Funding from Creative Scotland, and to be able to continue to play a key part in Scotland’s vibrant, national portfolio of cultural partners.

This three-year funding enables us to continue to provide our rural communities with access to a wide range of arts experiences of the highest quality and to retain our support for artists, makers and performers through the development of new work, commissions and artists' residencies. It will also enable us to strengthen and build the capacity of our organisation and to extend our important work in art and ecology

Lorraine Grant, Director of the Barn, said: “ We are extremely grateful to Creative Scotland for their continued support, and to all of our staff volunteers and partners who have worked so hard to develop the Barn’s ambitious cultural plan for the next three years. We look forward to delivering a diverse programme of performances, workshops and events and continuing to play our part in supporting the cultural wellbeing of our communities across North East Scotland.”
