flock returns Friday 20 November - Sunday 22 November, and applications for designer-makers are open now! 

Hosted each year at the Barn, flock is a well-established, well-attended event which is unique to our home of Aberdeenshire. Showcasing the very best in contemporary craft & design, our audiences are invited to connect with makers through their stalls at the fair, as well as live demonstrations, and workshops. We welcome applications from designers, makers and artists working in the craft & design field, at all stages of their career. Each year we try to bring our audiences something new and exciting, so if you’ve never applied before, now is your chance!

Please also ensure you fill in the EDI forms which is linked during the application process. This information is kept confidential and anonymous, it's purpose is to monitor our EDI plans and allow for improvement.

The deadline for applications is 5PM on Monday, 3 August 2026.
