Natura Scarf by Ploterre

The Natura Scarves by Ploterre for the FOLD: HAMEWARE collection

Found exclusively in FOLD and available in a limited edition of four colourways, the Natura blankets tell the story of a group of protected areas across Scotland from St Kilda to Kirkcudbright. Each grid of the scarf depicts a different site and the direction of the lines indicate whether the site is home to terrestrial or marine species. Horizontal lines depict the sea and vertical lines depict the trees. Each of these sites are crucial to a range of species of flora and fauna that call these places home. And whilst these areas are identified as precious, not all are protected.

Beanies by HAAR

HAAR Arisaig Beanies

Suitable for folks of all genders, these beanies made by Josie of HAAR are crafted from 100% natural lambswool - chosen for its breathability, warmth, and ability to soften with age. Inspired by Scotland's landscapes, the design process begins with sketches and photography, then the impressions are carefully translated into knit - in a process that involves patience and care in every detail.

Mugs by Sarah Rees Lloyds

These vibrant mugs from Sarah Rees Lloyds are real crowd pleasers, and so perfect for a warm cup of tea on these winter nights. Sarah’s work is influenced by organic surface pattern found in hedgerows, leafy canopies, the shorelines of Angus and also from her South Asian heritage, specifically the rich vibrant hues applied to temple architecture in Tamil Nadu. Her pieces are produced in small batches from stoneware clay that has crushed flecks and spangles wedged into the clay body, creating a unique crystalline speckling across the surface of each piece.
