Children’s Arts Festival

4 – 7 April @ the Barn, Banchory

We are very excited to be launching BLOOM, our brand new arts festival, for children, which continues the Barn’s long standing focus on linking nature and creativity.

We have an array of fantastic events and performances lined up including; Bookbug sessions with Aberdeenshire libraries, Eco Drama: The Whirlybird and Theatre Fidera Fidera: Oskar’s Amazing Adventure.

Join us for some family friendly fun in our Wild Garden with Wild Garden Seedlings. Asylon Theatre present their Home Sweet Garden Workshop where we’ll explore what makes an engaging story and discover that nature and wildlife can be an excellent inspiration for great stories and don’t miss the breathtakingly gorgeous, hand-drawn masterpiece Song Of The Sea (PG).

WMS Present: The Starlicht Runaway, a magical show for children and families that combines music, and storytelling. Plus join us for our free, drop-in craft sessions each day.

BLOOM is guaranteed to entertain the whole family this Easter so take the stress out of the school holidays and bring the children to be entertained here at the Barn.
