Barn Art Aid

Our call for help.

Like many arts organisations, the Barn is currently facing a huge financial challenge to survive.  2024 is a critical year in the charity’s 30-year history.

The impacts of being unable to open during the pandemic, rising costs, decreasing donations, a nationwide cost of living crisis and competitive grant applications, have severely depleted the charity’s reserves.

“We are doing all we can to survive in these very difficult times and on top of all our applications for funding, we are working hard to supplement our finances.

We believe that art and culture improve lives and that everyone should be able to access the arts.  We hope our communities realise the benefits of having the Barn in Banchory and that they continue to support us in our time of need.” The Barn team.

What is Barn Art Aid?

Barn Art Aid is where art meets philanthropy. A concept dedicated to supporting our charity through the power of creativity.

Barn Art Aid is a showcase of stunning artworks, each generously donated for sale, by the talented artists and makers in our creative community.

Every person who buys a piece, doesn't just acquire a beautiful artwork but also contributes directly to our cause, making a tangible difference to the survival of the Barn.

The artworks on sale come at a range of price points and can be bought online via eBay from 14 March - 14 April 2024. There will also be an exhibition of all artworks at the Barn from 14 March - 5 April where you will also be able to make purchases in person.
